Finneas Bairdo'Connell was born 1997 in Los Angeles, California. His parents were Maggie Baird (screenwriter), and Patrick O'Connell, actor. At the age of 12, he began recording and writing his own music. He made his film debut in Bad Teacher (2011) with Cameron Diaz. He was also featured on the soundtrack of Life Inside Out (2013), a music-themed drama where he starred alongside his mother. He appeared on parts of Modern Family and Aquarius, and he was also a regular character Alistair in the sixth season. His first single, "Desperate measures," was released by his guitar-pop group, the Slightlys, in early 2016.
