Family Bibles were very common in the years pre-dating the 20th century. These Bibles would contain records such as Baptisms, Marriages and Burials and would often be passed down from one generation to the next. Obviously as time went on these Bibles became less popular, and many have been thrown away, or simply lost. I have been fortunate enough to find the Bible from my own Staniforth line in the possession of Roger Havenhand, grandson of Edith Heaton Staniforth, my Great Great aunt. I have also been sent a family Bible from Tom Anderson from the Crowle line of Staniforth. Below you will find scans from these Bibles, and hopefully we will come across more in the future.

As always, if you are in possession of a Bible featuring Staniforth names, we would appreciate any images you might be able to offer, you can reach us through nathan@staniforthfamily.com.
